Take a few drops of the test solution and place them on the mirror surface of the test window. Cover it with a light plate to spread the test solution all over the mirror surface. Turn the focusing handle towards the light source or bright spot to make the scale clear. Observe the scale aligned with the boundary between brightness and darkness as the measurement value. After the measurement is completed, wipe the test window with a lens wiping paper.

(1) Keep the emulsion clean. Avoid throwing tea, cigarette butts, leftover food, rags and other debris into the emulsion tank or box; Timely clean up the chips and abrasives generated during the processing; Try to avoid the leakage of lubricating oil and hydraulic oil from the machine tool transmission and hydraulic system as much as possible.
(2) Timely replenish emulsion. Continuous use will cause natural loss of emulsion, and it is necessary to add emulsion prepared in proportion in a timely manner.
(3) Regularly monitor the emulsion. Pay attention to changes in the appearance and odor of the emulsion; Control the concentration of emulsion to maintain a pH value between 8 and 9.5. If the pH value is too high (pH>9.5), it may cause skin allergies in severe cases; If the concentration is normal but the pH value drops to<7.5 in the short term, the cutting fluid has already failed.
Pay attention to lubricity. If there is a decrease in machining accuracy, first check whether the cutting fluid has failed or there are too many impurities. If not, it means that the effective concentration of the cutting fluid is low. The emulsified oil solution should be added in a timely manner to adjust the concentration to the normal range.
